First, practical experience is crucial in understanding the root causes of diseases. When treating patients, connecting the present condition to their past history often reveals insights that textbooks alone cannot provide.
To enhance diagnostic reliability, I developed the “100 Questions Root Cause Diagnostic System”, which includes 100 main questions along with sub-questions covering almost every aspect of a patient’s history and symptoms. This system is designed to improve judgment by connecting all possible root causes, even in complex or rare scenarios. While traditional statistical confidence intervals are not yet part of this system, the structured questions capture nuanced information, helping detect rare conditions, including paraneoplastic syndromes, and improve overall diagnostic accuracy.
I would also like to share a counter perspective. The conventional allopathic diagnostic system primarily focuses on identifying diseases, which is useful for labeling conditions but rarely addresses why the disease developed. Allopathic treatments—medications or surgeries—may provide temporary relief but often come with lots of Big side effects.
Over the past 20 years, I have dedicated my energy to uncovering the root causes of diseases, not just their biomedical manifestations. The goal of my system is to prevent or remove these roots, offering a healthcare approach that is safer, holistic, and sustainable, helping people avoid the biomedical “existence” of disease altogether.
In short, this system is an effort to formalize practical clinical judgment into a structured approach that goes beyond symptoms, aiming for true root-cause resolution.
